Analyst — M&A Due Diligence

Role Overview

Our M&A practice is looking for highly motivated Analysts to join our Due Diligence team. You will support private equity and corporate buyers in assessing the strategic, operational, and commercial viability of target acquisitions. This is a fast-paced role that offers unparalleled exposure to transaction dynamics and business analysis.

What You'll Do

• Perform rapid, structured research and data analysis on target companies, industries, and competitors.
• Analyse target financial statements, commercial models, and operational metrics to identify risks and upside potential.
• Draft segments of due diligence reports, creating clear charts and tables that present analytical findings.
• Participate in target management interviews and Q&A sessions, taking detailed notes and capturing key points.
• Collaborate closely with client deal teams and internal project managers to meet tight transaction deadlines.

What You'll Bring

• 0–2 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, or transaction advisory.
• Outstanding academic record, ideally in business, economics, engineering, or finance.
• Strong numerical and financial analytical skills; high comfort level with Excel.
• Highly structured thinker who can quickly grasp key business drivers and industry structures.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple competing priorities.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Internship experience in private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
• Fluency in a second European language.
