Consultant — Strategy

Role Overview

Harbor Labs is seeking a high-calibre Consultant to join our Strategy practice. You will work directly with C-suite clients across industrial sectors to define corporate direction, evaluate growth options, and structure complex strategic decisions. This is a senior enough role to own work streams independently, and junior enough that you will still be hands-on with the analysis.

What You'll Do

• Lead discrete work streams on 2–4 client engagements simultaneously, managing analysts and owning deliverable quality.
• Develop and pressure-test strategic hypotheses using structured problem-solving frameworks and original research.
• Build compelling board-ready presentations that translate analytical complexity into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Facilitate C-suite and senior leadership workshops, confidently presenting to and debating with executive audiences.
• Contribute to client proposals and business development activities alongside senior Partners.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to practice knowledge-building initiatives.

What You'll Bring

• 3–6 years of experience at a top-tier strategy or management consulting firm, or equivalent in a corporate strategy role.
• Strong academic background from a leading institution; MBA or graduate degree is an advantage but not required.
• Demonstrable experience applying structured analytical frameworks to complex strategic questions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency; comfort with financial modelling and data analysis.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work under demanding timelines.

Nice to Have

• Deep sector knowledge in one or more of Harbor Labs core industrial markets.
• Experience with M&A due diligence, market entry, or large-scale transformation programmes.
• Multilingual capability relevant to our key markets (German, Mandarin, Arabic, or French).
